Why don't they? "I don't want to do that, I just want to xyz" - OK well then you get to pay economic minded players for their work. There is nothing stopping anyone from going and levelling up their own legendary ranks, and farming all the mats.
#WOW SOUL CINDERS PATCH#
Great time to go mining/skinning right now in the patch cycle. If you don't like it, level your own professions. It doesn't matter what the mats actually cost, because it's gated behind time and effort into a profession, which means I have the right to profit. I don't care if you farm, buy tokens, or sell your body to get the gold, but I'm going to do everything in my power to ensure it costs you as much as possible, because that gold goes to me, not Blizz. You know who sets the prices of the crafted legendaries? The players, not blizz. It doesn't look like you can buy it with gold. Seems like the moment you pour effort or resources into something, the next set of hotfixes knocks it out from under you. This whole expansion, it just feel like players keep getting caught out by Blizzard changes. Being in here from the start, or at the very least earlier than days after Unity is already out, would have been so much more preferable. Because this wasn't present when Legendaries were being re-crafted/upgraded at the start of the patch (or even mentioned as a possibility) everyone was crafting because of Tier slots and the future consideration of Unity. but I've already done it because there was no choice earlier. I don't very much want to go and farm Torghast more for legendaries in 9.2. Meaning, it will be like 1.8Kish soulash and 1650 soul cinders if you go the the rune carver, put your rank 3 in, and then put the rank 6 white piece in to upgrade. It just feels full of *surprise* here is a change no one was expecting or could anticipate! Don’t quote me on this, but I’m fairly certain it works like going from a rank 1 to a rank 4 in that case. I hate their handling these last few patches. The real question is will they apply this philosophy to 10.0 or will we be waiting 'til 10.3 again. Great change, but the last patch always gradually ends up to be what it should have been like at launch. It seems (based on our extremely small sample size) to be unavailable to characters that did not have a crafting profession when the item was introduced. Me and a few guildies cannot see this item, whereas others can. I wish it was account wide it would encourage me to play my alts more and dungeon. In s2 and now afaik it’s tied to rating which is on an individual character level. Was this changed for season 3? In season 1 when it was tied to the achievements this worked.
#WOW SOUL CINDERS UPGRADE#
AND if you have KSM you can upgrade your alts m+ gear to 12 / 12 and no one is talking about it
